I bought a refurbished one but apparently it wasn’t checked out before they (an amazon dealer: not amazon themselves) sent it to me. No picture, no sound. Very annoying!

I used to recommend this TV, but no longer. It didn’t work and in fact, the buttons fell inside the tv! It also didn’t have a remote with it – I was so disappointed I just sent it back and didn’t even ask for a replacement. Now that the parts warranty is over, I have multiple problems. If I want to watch a show at 8 pm, I make sure I turn the TV on by 7:30.

2) When watching the TV or a DVD, the picture will periodically go either totally black or white but the sound remains on. Once this starts happening it will likely continue happening every 10-15 minutes for an hour or so.
